3D Face Mask Sewing Pattern Instructions

With coronavirus spreading worldwide, I am taking time to write this FREE face mask sewing pattern to give to people who wants to make their own face mask. This is a simple sewing project suitable for beginners.

Here is just a brief version. Follow the instruction to cut the fabric. With fabric right side together to sew with 1/4" seam allowance along the curve line for both exterior and lining fabric. Do the same to cotton batting fabric. You can also chose a different type of fabric of your choice.

 

Pin exterior and batting together. Sew with 1/8" away from the center line.

 

Assemble exterior and lining fabric, basting the side and trim extra batting. Fold it twice with elastic in the middle, sew it with 1/8" seam allowance.

You have finished the final beautiful face mask! This is a reusable mask and can be washed in hot water for sanitation.
